Keeping Your Computer Clean From Viruses
Keeping Your Computer Clean
Keeping your computer's software and operating system clean is
essential to have an optimal running computer. If you have a
computer that is bogged down by incompatible software, viruses
and spyware, your computer will suffer from performance issues
and can crash repeatedly. Here are some tips on keeping your
computer clean to get the most out it.
Make sure you run a virus scan and spyware scan regularly.
Usually most virus scan software's will constantly protect your
computer, but it is also necessary to run a full scan just in
case a virus or Spyware has gotten through the barriers.
Defragment you disk drive. If you have a lot of disk space and
you have saved many files as well as deleted these files, it is
important to defragment your
disk. Defragging your disk will
help your computer find the files it needs quickly and easily.
It might take a while to defrag your disk but it is definitely
worth it.
Uninstall programs correctly. Make sure you use your control
panel utilities to uninstall programs. By deleting a few files,
you will not remove the entire program and may cause your
computer problems in the future. So to keep your computer
running optimally follow these tips.
