Stop Your Computer From Getting A Virus
Stop Your Computer From Getting the Flu
Computer viruses have been plaguing computers since they were
first created in the 1970's. The problem is new viruses are
being created everyday. Not only are our computers more
susceptible to being invaded by viruses today than ever before,
the viruses today that are created are much more malicious.
A computer virus is just a piece of computer code that somehow
finds its way into your computer and commands your computer to
follow its instructions. Since there are many different types of
viruses that infect each computer in a different way, it is best
to focus on prevention to prevent viruses from commandeering
your computer.
Here are a few practical tips to stop a majority of viruses from
entering your computer. Don't open up email in which the sender
is unrecognized or seems fishy. Many viruses enter through
email. A few other tips are don't download software or products
from an
unreputable source and don't interact with websites that
do not seem legit.
But to truly prevent your computer from being attacked it is
necessary to install a high quality antivirus software product.
Most of the high quality antivirus programs constantly search
and destroy malicious viruses. Some are updated daily so you are
protected against the newest and sometimes most dangerous
viruses in cyberspace. Many of these programs are an excellent
value. If you are infected by a virus it may cost you a loss of
all your data. Remember when it comes to computer viruses,
prevention is most important.
